AeroCloud Systems has been awarded a contract to provide a full suite of airport operations’ management systems, including flight information display systems (FIDS), gate management systems (GMS) and common-use passenger processing systems (CUPPS) for [Eastern Iowa Airport](https://flycid.com) (CID).

CID serves more than 1 million passengers a year and is currently completing the final phase of a terminal expansion project, with all systems expected to be fully inducted early in 2023.

#### AEROCLOUD BRINGS STATE-OF-THE-ART OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS TO LYNDEN PINDLING INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (NAS) 


AUGUST 16th 2022: AeroCloud Systems (AeroCloud), the 100% cloud native software platform dedicated to the support of airports, has won a contract to provide the Flight Information Display Systems (FIDS) and gate management systems (GMS) for the largest international airport in The Bahamas and the 4th largest airport in the Caribbean.

The initial three-year contract, the start of a new partnership between Lynden Pindling International Airport and AeroCloud, will see new operations management systems in place from Q3 2022.

AeroCloud offers airports a cost-effective, and revolutionary approach to improving and developing their management systems while requiring little to no initial capital outlay.  

The platform’s transforming approach focuses on automating labour-intensive tasks and predicting operational events such as spikes in passenger numbers and congestion on the apron and gate areas, both of which occur during busy peak periods at airports like LPIA. The platform’s open architecture allows for access to a wide range of data sources, thus providing airport stakeholders with insights into operational trends such as cancellations, delays, and diversions. These predictive capabilities in turn facilitate prescriptive analytics that can optimise future gate allocation planning in a way that revolutionises airport decision making. 

LPIA already has access to enhanced arrival and departure data via the AeroCloud platform. The AI-Driven GMS will prove particularly valuable in supporting the management of the commercial aprons with the aim to enhance operational efficiency.

Richardson added: “Our gate management system will create a paradigm shift for Lynden Pindling International Airport greatly reducing the amount of manual tasks required to manage their operations, and also alerting key stakeholders to take proactive measures towards avoiding conflicts and irregular operations.”

By utilising specialist tools embedded within the system, AeroCloud’s software also allows airports to see, and respond to, peaks and troughs in passenger levels.

9th AUGUST 2022: AeroCloud Systems (AeroCloud), the 100% cloud native software platform dedicated to the growth of airports, has announced its merger with passenger processing (common-use) specialist Flight Solutions LTD.  The move, which will see the Company augment its capabilities to include airport passenger processing services, will offer its customers a comprehensive one-stop solution for all their airport data and passenger journey needs.  

“The market is ready for change. After the pandemic airports need to cut their ties with legacy vendors as the software and hardware model has become outdated, un-affordable and obsolete,” comments George Richardson, Co-Founder and CEO of AeroCloud.  “To date no one provider has had the capacity, funds or tenacity to compete on all fronts with our legacy competition, the coming together of these game changing products is going to change the way airports do things for the better.”
